This category is dedicated to the work of some of the finest modellers of the period between the 1920s and the 1960s.
Featured prominently is the work of James Stanley Beeson (1906–1990), widely regarded as the greatest model locomotive builder of his time and often referred to as the “Fabergé of the model world.”
Best known for his exquisite O Gauge models, Beeson also produced in OO and Gauge 1, creating bespoke commissions for private collectors and major retailers such as Bassett-Lowke, Milbro, Leeds (LMC), and Exley.
Alongside Beeson, you’ll also find models by Bernard Miller and other distinguished or emerging names as they are added. Wherever possible, we aim to include background history and provenance for each item.
