The LMS Princess Class locomotives were some of the most prestigious and powerful express passenger engines to run on the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. Designed by Sir William Stanier, these impressive Pacific locomotives were introduced in 1933 to haul the LMS’s most important long-distance passenger services.
