Hornby 0 Gauge No.3C GWR Green Loco & Tender ‘CAERHILLY CASTLE’ No.4073, Clockwork – unboxed – Overall Fair – Here we have from the popular range of No.3C Loco & Tenders is the GWR ‘CAERPHILLY CASTLE’ Clockwork. This loco & Tender is from that popular range of No.3 Locos produced by Hornby from the late 1920’s until production creased 1939/40, this version has the early fixed head lamps, No.2 coal rail Tender with full ‘Great Western’ lettering to the sides dating it to 1929/30. There is overpainting to the Loco boiler and the boiler bands are hand painted, it has seen some use and would benefit from a clean and general tidy, overall Fair. Being sold as seen as I have NOT serviced this Locomotive so is being sold as is, when tested ran well in forward and reverse.
