Hornby 0 Gauge No.2 Special Loco & Tender LNER Lined ‘YORKSHIRE’, Clockwork Circa 1930 – Tender boxed – Excellent – Here we have from the popular range of No.2 Special Loco & Tenders is the LNER ‘YORKSHIRE’ No.234 in Clockwork with the No.2 Special LNER Tender. The Yorkshire Loco was only available from 1929 until 1934/35 when the name was changed to Bramham moor. This example is from 1930 with the green running board, non lined cylinders, Hornby Series transfer to the rear of the Locomotive and the large lettered LNER to the tender sides dating this example to 1930 only by 1931 the finish had changed again. There are a few genral marks, The edge of the running boards have been over painted which is very difficult to see and the cylinder rods are replacement so overall Excellent example of the Locomotive circa 1930. A great addition to your LNER Hornby Locomotive Stud.
