Hornby 0 Gauge Early E2/6 special Tank Loco LNER Green No.1784, 3-rail electric – Boxed – From one of the first years of issue in 1930’s is this No.2 Electric Special Tank loco in LNER Green. First issued in 1929 with side brushes, brass pick-ups and small rear buffer beam and drop link coupling this version has the automatic rear coupling dating this to 1932/33. These new Locos were to replace the No.2 4-4-4 Tank loco’s these were more realistic and also in electric which was a far cry from the Clockwork only Locos available at that time. The condition is Excellent /plus in the correct Fair to Good box. A great addition to any Hornby 0 Gauge collection.
