Hornby 0 Gauge 4-6-2 Loco & Tender LMS Lined Maroon ‘Princess Elizabeth’ No.6201, 3-rail 20 volt Electric Circa 1937 with rare Sand cab – Boxed – These loco’s were produced in 1937 until the war ceased production in 1939/40. The Princess is from Circa 1937 with the Rare/ Hard to Find Sand Cab version which only lasted during 1937 the first year of production. This example here is one is gloss maroon finish with original Mazar parts with the exception of the cross heads which have been replaced and some point. Few of the Sand Cab versions ever appear for sale and of the ones I have sold over the last 20 plus years this is only the second one that I have offered. The overall condition is Near Mint with just some paint loss at the rear of the Locomotive draw bar beam all contained in the correct early red box. A great opportunity to add this seldom seen version to your collection.
