Hornby 0 Gauge 4-6-2 Loco & Tender LMS Lined Maroon ‘Princess Elizabeth’ No.6201, 3-rail 20 volt Electric – Boxed

Hornby 0 Gauge 4-6-2 Loco & Tender LMS Lined Maroon ‘Princess Elizabeth’ No.6201, 3-rail 20 volt Electric  – Boxed – These loco’s were produced in 1937 until the war ceased production in 1939/40. The Princess is the only 6-coupled Locomotive that Hornby produced and in 20 volt 3-rail electric only. The example here is one  in the gloss maroon finish dating this to 1937/38, The loco is in Excellent condition overall with only some minor marks, the main driving wheels, the rear pony and front bogie wheels are replacements as are The cross heads and the one of the tender axle boxes. There replacements are of the mazac metal parts (mazac parts are subject to fatigue not from use but from poor quality metal/process at the time of production). The Loco is in Excellent running order all contained in the original Blue wooden box. A great opportunity to add this to your collection.
