Bassett Lowke 0 Gauge 4-6-2 Loco & Tender LNER lined blue A4 Class ‘Sir Nigel Gresley”, No4498, 3-rail electric – unboxed  – From the range of  6-coupled Locomotive produced by Bassett Lowke here we have a rare A4 class Locomotive & Tender Streamlined LNER ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ in 3-rail electric. Bassett Lowke produced a few of these A4 class Loco & Tender with the number produced believed to be in the 20’s. This example in LNER lined Blue has been repainted as with nearly all the examples that have been found, I understand that there are only a very few in original paint as most of them were never treated before painting and therefore tended to flake and suffer from some rusting. The Loco is in excellent running order. A great opportunity to add this rare loco to your Bassett lowke collection.
