About Mike Delaney’s Vintage Hornby Trains

I have been professionally trading in vintage trains and related items for over twenty years, and collecting for more than forty years.

My primary interest lies in O Gauge models from manufacturers such as Hornby, Bassett-Lowke, Mills, LMC, and others. Additionally, I am an avid collector of British outline Gauge 1 models, including Bing for Bassett-Lowke and Carette locomotives and rolling stock.

Recently, I have focused on collecting models produced by James Stanley Beeson (1906-1990). Beeson is a fascinating subject with only one book published, which is now over 20 years old. Since that time, more information and models have emerged.

I am always eager to connect with anyone who can help expand my knowledge or who wants to discuss models, details, or historical periods.

Since I began trading full-time, I have taken great pride in sourcing high-quality, rare, and exciting items. I photograph and catalogue these before passing them on to collectors worldwide.
