Bassett Lowke Gauge 1 Wooden Orange ‘BASSETT LOWKE’ Model Engineers Open Wagon – Unboxed – Good/plus – One of a Range of Wooden Wagons from Bassett Lowke is this very bright and attractive orange open ‘BASSETT LOWKE Ltd’ Model Engineers Open wagon. Carette /Bassett produced a pre and post 1st world war tinprinted version of this wagon in dark Red. This version has an orange chassis and body with white lettering to the sides, cast wheels and the usual large Carette type drop link couplings. There is a small damage/loss to the planking at one end which I have photographed but does not detract from the wagon overall. Good/plus. a great addition to any Gauge 1 vintage collection
