Hornby 0 Gauge 4-6-2 Loco & Tender LMS Lined Maroon ‘Princess Elizabeth’ No.6201, 3-rail Electric – Boxed – This Locomotive and Tender have been professionally repainted lined and transfered by Chris Littledale of the Brighton toy museum fame. Chris has been one the worlds (if not the worlds) leading restorers of Vintage toy trains and signed to the underside of the Locomotive. The finish is truely superb to both locomotive and the tender, this os one of not the best repainted Princess Locomotive I have seen as far as I can remember back over 25/30 years. The workmanship finishing this Locomotive and Tender to the highest standard with all the major mazac part replaced (These parts suffer with being brittle and braking very easily and need replacing). I have tested the loco on my Layout which is laid with Hornby steel and Maldon 3-rail track and it preforms very well. The locomotive includes an original box which has a little damp damage on the left hand side out part of the box. A great addition to any Hornby 0 Gauge collection, Hornby only produced one 6 coupled locomotive and this is the result superb…………………………………………………………………………………… I will try to add a vidio of the Locomotive running on my layout…….. it seems the file is to long so will have to try something else

These loco’s were produced in 1937 until the war ceased production in 1939/40. The Princess is the only 6-coupled Locomotive that Hornby produced and in 20 volt 3-rail electric only. A great opportunity to add this to your collection
