Hornby 0 Gauge No.2C Special Tank Loco LNER Green No.1784, Clockwork – unboxed

Hornby 0 Gauge No.2C Special Tank Loco LNER Green No.1784, Clockwork – unboxe –  First issued in 1929 is the No.2Special Tank loco produced for all four railway regions this example is the LNER lined green in Clockwork. This model had a long production run until 1939/40 when the Meccano factory moved to war work. This is the light grren shade and with rear automatic couplings dating this to 1931/34. These new Locos were to replacement for the earlier No.2 4-4-4 Tank loco’s. The condition is Good to Good/plus, I have not serviced the loco but on test it ran perfectly in forward and reverse so being sold as shown.  A great addition to any Hornby 0 Gauge collection.
