Rare Hornby 0 Gauge LE2/20 Swiss Style Overhead electric 0-4-0 Dark green Locomotive, 3-rail 20 volt Electric – unboxed – Overall Excellent/plus – Introduced in 1932 was a range of Swiss style overhead electric Locomotives the LE1/20 and the LE2/20. They were produced in a number of different colours and here is the electric LE220 volt in dark green finish with grey roof and pantographs at both ends. These were withdrawn from sale from 1936 so had only a short production period. Overall Excellent plus unboxed. Although these are not common and particularly in electric the dark green version was easier to find than some of the other coloured examples produced. These Loco’s seldon come up for sale so this is a rare opportunity to add this to your Hornby 0 Gauge collection
